We Work For Free is an organization that uses web technology to bring awareness to socio-economic problems facing the world. We exist as two entities, a web based social network and a real world group of activists who implement programs that benefit troubled regions. We exist to encourage creative people to get involved in changing the world around them.
We do this by holding peer moderated contests. The sponsors of these contests pay the designers and make donations that are used to fund our international development programs.
Current programs are being planed for various parts of Africa and parts of Asia aimed at providing education resources, water and food to people that need it.
